In Spain, breakfast, or “desayuno”, was my favourite meal of the day. Almost all of the little cafes in the “ancient quarter” served simple croissant/coffee/orange juice breakfasts, often for only a couple of Euros. Some highlights included eating at the “churreria” which served churros dipped in warm chocolate, and the cafe which served enormous powdered sugar breads.

OMGosh now thats a breakfast!! I will take that over the dutch breakfast of bread and cheese any day of the week..lol
It looks absolutely delish!!
As I'm sitting here having my morning coffee and being a good girl and skipping the ontbijtkoek, that's looking particularly delicious right now! Although as a Floridian, the unnatural orange color of that orange juice leaves me a bit scared. ;)
as wonderful as they might look and taste in the pictures (LOL) they're not breakfast menu to me LOL
my indonesian stomach needs a proper nasi goreng (fried rice) or bubur ayam (chicken congee) to survive the day :)
Churros dipped in chocolate?! Sounds heavenly. I want it all now! Here, we eat hot dogs every. single. morning. I don't even eat hot dogs at home...ugh.
Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day, and this is perfection! I love having just a croissant and a frothy café au lait.

Yum! I miss those frothy little European cappucinos and, of course, those buttery pastries.
