Snow Day

We were supposed to get a lot of snow today. Even school was closed (which never really happens here). I went to bed last night, thinking that we were in for “the worst blizzard in years”. Hah. This morning I was greeted with beautiful snow falling, but really no major accumulation. So much for the massive snow storm. I have to admit, I was kinda disappointed. The weather network was making this out to be such a huge storm, I thought surely it would be one of those quiet, snow-covered days where you sit indoors, with a nice cup of coffee, watching the snow fall softly into drifts outside.
