Today is Canada Day, where we celebrate the creation of our amazing country! I’m so thankful to be Canadian, and as I get older, I appreciate it more and more. When traveling abroad, when people ask where I’m from, I proudly state “Canada!” It is always well-received, and everyone seems to have a story about a friend or family member who lives in Canada, has visited here, or knows a Canadian. I love that Canada is so peaceful, stable, and kind to its citizens. It is so culturally diverse, and from West Coast to East Coast, the landscape, people, and traditions differ drastically.
With everything that has happened in the world recently, from natural disasters to political and economic unrest, I regularly count my blessings that I’m a Canadian. Of course our country is not free from its own problems, but compared to some nations, they are relatively small.
Natural beauty, friendly people, and a down-to-earth feel…that’s how I would characterize Canada.
Happy birthday Canada!

It looks lovely, your photos and your words talk for your beautiful country.
Having some family in Canada and friends with a dream to cross the ocean, I always have a nice feeling when I hear about this country.
Happy Canada Day!
